THE PROCESS
1. MEETING & UNDERSTANDING
At this stage we meet either in person or online to assess your space, requirements, possessions, budget and the time frame to finish the project. Towards the end of this meeting we discuss design packages. You can still take your time to decide if you would like me to work with you, because this first meeting does not cost you anything or may be just a cup of coffee:)
2.DESIGN STYLE QUESTIONNAIRE
Now that I am your designer, let's dive deep into the world of design. Mid-Century modern, Transitional, Industrial Chic, Scandinavian or something else? To understand which style of interiors is a match for you and to get design direction for the project, we go through a design style questionnaire. We will discuss in detail which design style will truly reflect your personality & taste.
3. PLANNING & PRESENTATION
At this stage, based on your interiors style preference and your design requirements, a concept board is created which includes Style Sheets (Inspirational Images & Colour scheme), Furniture Layout (to show how all furniture, furnishing & accessories (FFA) will be placed in that space and to ensure that every piece of furniture, furnishing & accessories is fitting properly into the space) & Mood Boards (which includes all the items which are selected to create the entire design of the space; furniture, light fixtures, rugs, accessories, almost everything which will go into that space). We will go through the concept board in detail and make changes if it doesn't fit your scheme of things. We freeze the design concept only after getting final nod from you.
4. SHOPPING LISTS & SET UP
After the shortlisted FF&A are approved, thorough and organised shopping lists will be provided to you, with clickable links to the sites from where the shortlisted items can be bought. If and when required, site visits will be done to monitor project progress and for setting up of furniture and furnishings. There can also be site visits to sort out any problem as they arise and answering to all of your questions & queries until your dream home is completed .
